摘要: The immune response against helminths and allergens is generally characterized by high levels of IgE increased numbers Th2 cells, eosinophils, mast yet the clinical outcome with respect to immediate hypersensitivity inflammation clearly not same. High are seen during helminth infections; however, these responses do translate into allergy symptoms. This chapter summarizes evidence association between infections allergic disorders. It discusses how infection can lead cross-reactivity this has poor biological activity. information important for developing new diagnostic methods treatments disorders in low-to-middle-income countries.
