摘要: Abstract Orexins, also known as hypocretins, play a regulatory role in the sleep-wake cycle by activating orexin receptors. Previous animal studies have shown that sleep deprivation can elevate orexinergic peptide levels. However, relationship between insomnia disorder and orexin-A levels humans has not been explored. In current study, we examined plasma patients with normal sleepers. We studied possible mechanisms underlying changes study groups; this included investigations of prepro-orexin receptor gene polymorphisms well exploration other variables. measured 228 282 The results indicated had significantly higher than sleepers (63.42 ± 37.56 vs. 54.84 ± 23.95 pg/ml). A positive was detected level age disorder. Orexin-A were elevated relation to course insomnia, increased Insomnia Severity Index score. None evaluated single nucleotide informative two populations. After sequencing all exons, one variation (rs2271933) OX1R (rs2653349) OX2R found. no significant differences found either genotypic or allelic frequency distributions groups. It is suggested are associated severity but polymorphisms.
