摘要: Objective The aim of this clinical trial was to evaluate the effectiveness using lyophilised porcine skin (Xenoderm) compared with 1% silver sulfadiazine (SSD) in partial-thickness burns regard wound infection, length hospital stay, number dressings and doses analgesics used (oral injection). Methods A total 78 patients were included randomised study; their caused by scalds or flames. They had second degree a burn area 10-60% body surface (TBSA). Thirty-seven treated daily washing, followed topical application SSD dressing (the group) 39 biological dressing, i.e. Xenoderm group). differences evaluated unpaired Student's t -test, Mann-Whitney U test Chi-square test. Results There no significant between two groups respect age, gender, TBSA, cause burn, thickness site. But there regarding given analgesics. Conclusion seems be more effective than terms pain control, stay for burns. Prospective studies are now necessary compare possible reductions use split grafts re-epithelialisation times.
