摘要: Phytochemical analysis of the ethanol extract from leaves Moringa oleifera Lam., Moringaceae, yield benzylnitriles: niazirine, niazirinine and 4-hydroxyphenylacetonitrile, while fruit shells only octacosane was isolated. The essential oils leaves, flowers fruits were examined by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. major constituents identified were: phytol (21.6%) thymol (9.6%) in oil, octadecane (27.4%) hexadecanoic acid (18.4%) docosane (32.7%) tetracosane (24.0%) oil. structures all compounds spectroscopic analyses (NMR, IR MS). 4-hydroxyphenylacetonitrile is reported for first time to genus are species M. oleifera.
