摘要: Abstract We studied ten alkyd artists' paints from the Griffin Alkyd, “fast drying oil colours” series (Winsor & Newton) in order to evaluate effect of pigment–binder interactions on stability resin. The literature has focused above all characterization and their ageing processes using various techniques, however, best our knowledge, research pigment-resin interaction is still lacking. selected four colours (red, blue, yellow green) two formulations based inorganic or organic pigments together with titanium white black formulated carbonized bones we applied a combined differential scanning calorimetric (DSC) thermogravimetric (TG) approach. pure whole paint replicas were analyzed, natural was monitored for eight months. Artificial an acetic acid atmosphere also studied. found that metallorganic interacted strongest resin, while appear act more as dispersants. chemical other hand, via auto-oxidation, almost independent pigment only depends content. fully dried after Paint samples hyper-realistic artworks, “Salto di qualita”, 2003, “Senza nome”, 2007, by Italian painter Patrizia Zara investigated DSC effects several years fast-drying colours. At end drying, seemed very stable. visibly damaged replicas, but appeared mostly rather than resin network.
