摘要: Abstract This paper investigates the effect of polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) nanoparticle inclusion in cellulose acetate (CA) membranes. The synthesis a novel CA-anchored additive (CA–POSS) is described. Membranes were fabricated with no additive, or either POSS CA–POSS as an at different weight percent loadings. Nanoparticle dispersion was investigated using scanning electron microscopy. Dynamic mechanical analysis used to investigate strength nanocomposite on filtration properties and compaction behavior membranes also investigated. Compared CA control, exhibited superior flux resistance, decreased salt rejection strength.
