摘要: We have discovered that intracellular redox state appears to be a necessary and sufficient modulator of the balance between self-renewal differentiation in dividing oligodendrocyte-type-2 astrocyte progenitor cells. The freshly isolated progenitors allows prospective isolation cells with different characteristics. Redox is itself modulated by cell-extrinsic signaling molecules alter differentiation: growth factors promote cause become more reduced, while oxidized. Moreover, pharmacological antagonists effects these antagonize their on differentiation, indicating modulate this converge modulation as critical component effector mechanism.
