摘要: Abstract This paper investigates the environmental aspects of a steam methane reformer technology and highlights potential for improving through conventional an advanced exergoenvironmental analysis. An analysis is complex based on combination exergetic Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). conducted at component level identifies options reducing overall impact. To evaluate thermodynamic performance effectiveness to estimate its realistic improvement, it necessary know (a) avoidable part exergy destruction (irreversibilities) within component, (b) impact associated with it. Improvement efforts should be then focused only these parts. The impacts both component-related are calculated in As result, some suggestions design made.
