摘要: Abstract The gel electrolyte is an important factor that controls both the manufacturing process and performance of valve-regulated lead-acid (gel VRLA) batteries. In this study, influence concentration fumed silica four additives in formulation on gelling process, electrochemical behavior battery was investigated. Higher concentrations presence polyacrylamide vaniline led to a shorter time firmer gel. Of formulations studied, VRLA batteries with or without 0.005% (w/v) had higher discharge capacity than conventional liquid battery.
