摘要: Abstract A ceramic composite was produced by mixing cubic zirconia with graphene nano-platelets. The samples were consolidated flash sintering in argon atmosphere to avoid the oxidation of at high temperature. applied electrical field ranged between 50 V cm−1 and 500 V cm−1, while current density limit set 35 mA mm−2 175 mA mm−2. presence conductor filler reduced onset temperature, a good densification obtained. Remarkably, same level not possible on pure (possessing geometry) as they got physically damaged ignition (likely due internal temperature gradients). After sintering, part conductive still partially present within matrix although some zirconium carbide also formed.
