摘要: Atmospheric new particle formation is investigated, based on long-term observations of the aerosol number size distributions, relevant gaseous components including H2SO4 and OH, meterological parameters. Measurements were conducted at Meteorological Observatory Hohenpeissenberg, a rural continental mountain site in southern Germany. A rough classification yielded approximately 50 significant events between April 1998 February 2000. Midday peak concentrations ultrafine concentration (3–11 nm) ranged 3000 40,000 cm−3 with being mostly order 107 cm−3. case study from 20, provided insight into dynamic processes associated an event formation: The was observed under intense solar radiation, total increasing 6000 to 25000 within one hour, particles accounting for more than 50% number. lower lim...
