摘要: Thomas Willis is considered to be one of the greatest neuroanatomists all time. His name usually associated with 'the circle Willis', an anastomotic at base brain, but his work also formed foundation basic neuroanatomical description and nomenclature, comparative neuroanatomy. By combining insightful clinical observations original pathological studies, enquiring mind established links that are still astonishing 300 years on. For these reasons, Willis' achievements should proclaimed every new generation neuroscientists.
