摘要: The human capacity to perform prolonged exercise is impaired in hot environments. To address this issue, a number of studies have investigated behavioral aspects thermoregulation that are recognized as important factors determining performance. In review, we evaluated and interpreted the available knowledge regarding voluntary control work rate Our analysis indicated that: (a) Voluntary reductions uncompensable heat aid are, therefore, thermoregulatory behaviors. (b) Unlike thermal behavior during rest, role comfort ultimate mediator remains uncertain. By contrast, rating perceived exertion appears be key perceptual controller under such conditions, with perception playing more modulatory role. (c) Prior increases core temperature (when only skin elevated), self-selected likely mediated by (thermal sensation) its influence on exertion. (d) However, when both temperatures elevated, associated cardiovascular strain dictate response, thereby mediating rate.
