摘要: The alkaline comet assay was used to study the genomic instability of lymphocytes derived from untreated sporadic breast cancer patients (50 cases), and also following their in vitro irradiation up 5 Gy. We compared results (mean tail moment (MTM)) with a control population 25 who had been 'cured' disease, follow-up 10 years or more (25 cases). At basal level, 77.5% (P<0.01) 73.7% (P<0.05) women values higher than cut-off level 5.3, only 44% controls. After irradiation, 83% were above value 10.8 at 5-Gy dose 48% controls (P<0.01). These support hypothesis that affected by have constitutional instability. assessment prognostic this test could be interest, particularly without axillary nodal involvement.
