摘要: Abstract The main purpose of this paper is to explain the operation orifice pulse tube refrigerator (OPTR). An analytical model ideal OPT has been developed. mechanism heat flow at ends clearly explained as result hysteretic process elements gas entering and leaving tube. motion buffer deduced by numerical integration expected balance equation for flows hot cold exchangers established. A calculation velocity profile along in good agreement with hot-wire anemometry data. In working conditions, we found, gross refrigeration power, 〈q〉, theory/experiment ratios low 1.2, whereas those previously reported Storch Radebaugh were about 3 – 5. differences between theory et al. our are following: (1) co-workers assume small sinusoidal oscillations pressure ( ΔP/ P « 1 ) describe any time-dependence oscillation P(t); (2) model, expressed a minimum number independent controlled parameters relative OPT. double inlet configuration, test apparatus was able achieve 32 K temperature limit.
