摘要: This paper presents an overview of the past research on Surface Integrity (SI) studies in context machined components from a range work materials including stainless steels, Ni and Ti alloys, hardened steels for dies moulds, bearings automotive applications. Typical surface alterations such as phase transformations, microhardness residual stress are discussed correlated with functional performance products. A summary current modelling efforts is then presented along projections developing predictive models SI means enhancing product sustainability terms its performance.
