摘要: Existing work has shown that rainfall an effect on link quality. Some authors report a positive in moist conditions, whereas others demonstrate significant decrease throughput as result of or fog. The precise cause these variations not yet been conclusively established. This paper reports long term (26 day) quality results from 12 nodes deployed forest. We found the decreasing performance 28% good links (classified those having above 90% packet reception), but simultaneously increasing 34% poor (those below 50% reception). In addition, it was persisted for few days after rainfall. suggests are rain induced fading, rather due to water sitting node packaging. present experimental evidence which demonstrates changes (both and negative) indeed presence water, capacitively loading antenna, altering its radiation pattern.
