摘要: Owing to their limited supplies, recycling of precious metals, especially rhodium, is vital sustain the growth certain nanotechnologies. Here we report a mild, efficient, and selective method for rhodium recovery that relies on use carbon monoxide extract nanoparticles various supports in polar solvents. Unlike traditional technologies, this operates at low temperature does not require strong acids. Moreover, CO-induced leaching complimentary by acids terms selectivity toward versus other metals results metal form reduced metallic clusters. The performs best freshly surfaces can be promoted addition tertiary amines. Besides CO gas, formic acid also used as leachant decomposition produce Rh catalysis. concept could applied extraction from nuclear waste extended modify nanoparticle size composition.
