摘要: The biology of gastric carcinoma remains poorly understood and rather mysterious, often eludeing not only any rational explanation but also common sense. Thus, a decline in the incidence cancer has been reported most countries over last 5–6 decades; however, no satisfactory for this trend provided; moreover, fall concerns mainly antral carcinomas cardia (whose frequency is increasing), more marked “intestinal” histologic type. Second, mortality rates show large geographic variation, which ranges from values as low 3 to than 100 new cases/100000 per year; might be surprising, since it observed many other malignancies — characteristic that wide variation can detected even within small such Belgium, where curiously disease much frequent among Flemish Walloon population. Third, suggested fresh fruit vegetables exert protective effect against development these tumors; there evidence indicating rural areas, we should reasonably expect larger consumption green several fruits. Finally, recent investigations favor pathogenetic link between Helicobacter pylori infection carcinogenesis; despite interest observations, one forget owing diffusion individuals positive will never develop cancer.
