Performance analysis of photocatalytic CO2 reduction in optical fiber monolith reactor with multiple inverse lights

摘要: Abstract Photocatalytic CO 2 reduction seems potential to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions and produce renewable energy. A new model of photocatalytic in optical fiber monolith reactor with multiple inverse lights was developed this study improve the conversion CH 3 OH. The light distribution equation derived, by which modeled analyzed. variations OH concentration location operation parameters were obtained means numerical simulation. results show that outlet is 31.1% higher than previous model, attributed four fibers layout. With increase distance between center, average increases. also rises as input water vapor percentage increase, but declines increasing inlet velocity. maximum rate quantum efficiency are 0.235 μmol g − 1 h 0.0177% respectively, both internally illuminated (0.16 μmol g 0.012%). layout recommended design reduction.
