摘要: Abstract Sex ratio is an important population characteristic. It especially for endangered species with temperature-dependent sex determination, such as sea turtles. As turtle at hatching primarily influenced by the environmental temperature, ability to estimate crucial success of conservation measures. Green turtles (Chelonia mydas) are only that nest in Taiwan. Despite much regional research on ecology this species, has not yet been determined We combined measures temperature during thermally sensitive period a histological method hatchling from three nesting islands Taiwan 2010 2011. ratios green populations were female biased study period. In line overall trend, Wan-an Island drier and hotter weather season, produced more hatchlings than other main island—Lanyu Island. Results stress differences consider when developing strategies, even among closely located sites Lanyu Islands. This first East Asian region.
