摘要: Boron is a nonmetal element that present in nature many kinds of minerals and lot industrial products public use. The importance this lies the fact boron compounds are some water streams from nuclear power plants (Pressure Water Reactor [PWR]) boron-soluble salts modify Portland cement hydration retarding setting hardening, negatively affecting its durability characteristics. Thus, main objective research was to study efficiency against solidification systems based on alkali-activated fly ashes. Results show does not significantly alter hardening process new matrices. presence hardly modifies mechanical strengths activated ashes additionally, leaching tests indicate stabilisation/solidification system more effective than traditional ones.
