摘要: We describe the molecular recognition-mediated, stepwise fabrication of patterned protein nanostructures with feature sizes on order 200 nm. First, a self-assembled monolayer (SAM) 16-mercaptohexadecanoic acid (MHA) is onto gold by dip-pen nanolithography (DPN), and unpatterned regions are passivated protein-resistant oligoethylene glycol-terminated alkanethiol SAM. Next, an amine-terminated biotin derivative covalently conjugated chemically activated MHA SAM nanopattern. The surface then incubated streptavidin to form nanostructures, mediated recognition between streptavidin. Finally, nanopatterns fabricated recognition-mediated immobilization biotinylated from solution. Our methodology generically applicable because ubiquity biotin-tagged molecules.
