摘要: Global processes present a challenge for scholarly work on religion, necessitating new concepts, theoretical and analytical models, intellectual sensitivity, imagination. This calls focusing (1) cross-border interpenetration of religious organizations, beliefs, practices; (2) variations in the potential beliefs institutions to be transported; (3) use multiple frames reference examine dispersion cultures communities. A presidential panel presents need generating research questions, improving measurement tools, updating methodological techniques so that social scientists religion accurately authentically portray nature expression 21st century.
