Hierarchical structure with heterogeneous phase as high performance sensing materials for trimethylamine gas detecting

摘要: Abstract A two-step route to synthesize the hierarchical α-Fe2O3/ZnO hetero-nanostructures was demonstrated in this paper. In first step, nanosheet-assembled flower-like ZnO nanosheets were synthesized, on which α-Fe2O3 nanorods grew second step. The diameters of most composite material are at nanometer level. thickness is about 30 nm, and diameter 20 nm. For clearly know gas sensing properties nanostructures, pure compared. results that hetero-nanostructures-based sensor exhibited a higher response trimethylamine than ones. performances significantly enhanced by decoration surface nanosheets, act as active groups enhance catalytic activity interfacial effect. This work has provided insights strategies for rational fabrication high performance application sensors.
