The Effects of a new vector boson on the top quark cross-section at the Tevatron

摘要: Abstract It has recently been shown that a new neutral vector boson Z′, with mass of order 1 TeV and weak couplings to quarks only, could explain both the anomalous values Rb Rc apparent excess large ET jet events measured by CDF collaboration. We calculate effects Z′ exchange on t production cross section at Tevatron p collider energies, including next-to-leading-order QCD corrections. find significant enhancement study resulting invariant distribution, which provide decisive test model.
