Extended input/output measurement facilities

摘要: Input/output (I/O) measurement facilities are provided. An extended I/O block facility is provided that enables blocks to be stored in discontiguous areas of main storage and accessed directly via addresses. In a further aspect, an word facilitates the obtaining data for single operations.
