摘要: Abstract Passive solutions for building envelopes such as green roofs are regarded promising tools to reduce the energy demand buildings air-conditioning and improve thermal comfort of indoor spaces. It is therefore necessary quantify assess properly summer performance determine how a roof cover can attenuate delay temperature heat flux acting on its surface. The paper deals with an experimental investigation dynamic characteristics vegetated situated university in south Italy. An analysis daily values parameters showed quite stable trend decrement factor variation range 0.0982–0.1920. time lag exhibited ranging from 7.2 h 8.5 h. A successive was developed decomposing trends into Fourier series response systems solicitations different frequencies deviations, calculation parameters, arising considering sinusoidal 24 h period external forcing, accordance International Standard EN ISO 13786, compared values. behaviour similar high-pass frequency system, relative errors, by using only fundamental harmonic under 10% were found 72.9% cases 93.8% data lag. Results demonstrated that when climatic conditions location more irregular then predictions fundament instead real forcing provide relevant errors.
