摘要: Bangladesh is on its way to achieving the MDG 5 target of reducing maternal mortality ratio by three-quarters between 1990 and 2015, but annual rate decline needs triple. Although use skilled birth attendants has improved over past 15 years, it remains less than 20% as 2007 especially low among poor, uneducated rural women. Increasing numbers attendants, deploying them in teams facilities, improving access through messages antenatal care women, have potential increase such use.
