New syntax elements to svc to support color bit depth scalability

摘要: This invention presents a scalable solution to encode the whole 12-bit raw video once generate one bitstream that contains an H.264/AVC compatible base layer and enhancement layer. If decoder is available at client end, only sub-bitstream decoded 8-bit can be viewed on conventional display device; if color bit depth both sub-bitstreams will obtain it high quality device supports more than eight bit.
