摘要: In a recent article Davis (1973) suggested that irregular discharges represent valid, unobtrusive measure of patients' discontent with hospital treatment programs. Craig took issue Davis' conclusion on the grounds many other factors contribute to production discharges. Both papers are reviewed here. It is concluded that, while Craig's implied criticism unwarranted, data adduced in Davis−study do not support hypothesized link between patient and discharge. Some evidence connection discharge available from number sources, however, along for contention has multiple determinants.
