摘要: Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) is a classic type Cybercrime and can still strongly damage company reputation increase costs. Attackers have continuously improved their strategies, the amount unleashed communication requests has doubled in volume, size frequency. This occurred through different isolated hosts, leading them to resource exhaustion. Previous studies concentrated efforts detecting or mitigating ongoing DDoS attacks. However, addressing when it already place may be too late. In this article, we attract attention for crucial role importance early prediction attack trends order support network resilience. We suggest use statistical non-parametric indicators identifying volumetric attacks report promising results over real dataset from CAIDA.
