MICRONUTRIENT USE EFFICIENCY IN WHEAT AS AFFECTED BY DIFFERENT APPLICATION METHODS

摘要: The present research was carried out to investigate the effect of micronutrients and their application methods on wheat variety Gomal-8 under agro-ecology Dera Ismail Khan, Pakistan, during year 2010-11. trial laid in a randomized complete block design with split-plot arrangements. Main plot possessed five viz., Zn, Cu, Fe, Mn B while (side dressing, foliar soil application) were assigned sub-plots. results revealed that boron @ 2 kg ha -1 recorded higher crop growth rate (30.14 g m -2 day ), net assimilation (2.78 mg number tillers (307.00 grains spike (61.08) grain yield (5.63 t ). use copper 8 also showed encouraging similar boron. Among various methods, (at sowing) best as compared side dressing both at 4 weeks after sowing (WAS). Also, different significantly interacted for physiological agronomic traits including leaf area index (LAI), (CGR), (NAR) yield. Soil producing tillers, , almost all traits. This combination resulted returns benefit cost ratio.
