摘要: The organisation and mechanical effectiveness of a series polystyrene-block-hydrogenated polybutadiene (PS-b-hPB) diblock copolymers (where the hPB block is semicrystalline) when placed as thin layers between immiscible polymers, polyethylene (PE) polystyrene (PS), has been explored using neutron reflectivity, transmission electron microscopy peel tests. For copolymer (expected to leave interface unsaturated) trend in variation interfacial strength with molecular weight was found be similar that previously reported for amorphous copolymers. However, thick (oversaturating interface) became one case too large separate test. This may suggest different mechanism increasing at least blocks crystallisable.
