摘要: Abstract The intracellular localization of the oxidation [2- 14 C]adrenic acid (22:4( n -6)) and [1- C]docosahexaenoic (22:6( -3)) was studied in isolated liver cells. 22:4( -6) 2-3-times more rapid than 22:6( -3), C]arachidonic (20:4( or C ] oleic (18:1). (+)-Decanoylcarnitine lactate, both known to inhibit mitochondrial β-oxidation, reduced 18:1 distinctly efficiently with -3). In cells from rats fed a diet containing partially hydrogenated fish oil, -3) increased by 30–40% compared standard pellet diet. With as substrate, amount fatty oxidized very similar animals pellets oil. Shortened acids were not produced [5,6,8,9,11,12,14,15- 3 H]arachidonic acid. hepatocytes starved refed 20% fructose, large fraction 22:4 recovered C-labelled -C 18 acids.
