摘要: Nature clay, i.e., montmorillonite (MMT), can be used as support materials of anode electrocatalyst in the direct formic acid fuel cell. The nitrogen-containing composite (MMT-CN x ) was prepared via carbonizing MMT which covered by polyaniline. Pd/MMT-CN and Pd/C catalysts were oxidation using an improved liquid reduction method. composite, structure, surface properties, electrical conductivity supports studied energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Raman spectroscopy, photoelectron (XPS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission (TEM), electrochemical impedance (EIS). results showed that well-dispersed Pd nanoparticles with a narrow size distribution 3.5–5.5 nm could easily on MMT-CN . Larger specific area (ECSA) obtained for than according to CO-stripping voltammetry. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) chronoamperometry (CA) measurements better catalytic activity stability catalyst conventional electrooxidation. ECSA doped nitrogen may main reason higher compared catalyst. offered potential application
