摘要: Abstract Michael Porter introduces the idea that environmental regulations may benefit affected firms. This paper derives results consistent with Porter's hypothesis by employing a general equilibrium framework large number of agents, external economies scale in production, and discrete changes technology. The model shows endogenous technical change makes feasible. However, policy produces is not necessarily optimal.
