摘要: Idiopathic parkinsonism (IP) is defined by its classic symptomology, responsiveness to therapies which elevate dopamine levels, and the failure identify a specific etiological factor. The progressive irreversible degeneration of dopaminergic neurons projecting from substantia nigra pars compacta (SNc) striatum presence SNc Lewy bodies are regarded as essential pathological bases IP, but neither initiator(s) nor nature have been determined, relationship with degenerative changes in other parts IP brain. This paper discusses various hypotheses that proposed explain these phenomena, arguing be multisystem disorder, both at level individual whole brain level. It probable result multifactorial process, cascade interacting overlapping biochemical mechanisms determine course disease.
