CAMP: A Magnetic Poetry Interface for End-User Programming of Capture Applications for the Home

摘要: As the trend towards technology-enriched home environments progresses, need to enable users create applications suit their own lives increases. While several recent projects focus on lowering barriers for application creation by using simplified input mechanisms and languages, these often approach from a developer’s perspective, focusing devices interactions, rather than users’ goals or tasks. In this paper, we present study that examines how conceptualize involving automated capture playback of activities reveals breadth people desire. We introduce CAMP, system enables end-user programming smart based magnetic poetry metaphor. describe CAMP’s simple interface creating supports natural conceptual models applications. Finally, preliminary evaluation CAMP assess its ability support desired as well user’s model.
