摘要: Liver X receptors (LXR) have been implicated in cholesterol homeostasis. Agonists of LXR are expected to increase efflux, lower LDL, and raise HDL levels. Screening a natural product library plant extracts using LXR-SPA binding assay bioassay-guided fractionation the bark stem extract Garcinia humilis led discovery new polyisoprenylated benzophenone named guttiferone I (1).
