摘要: Oxalic acid is one of the proposed metabolites anodic oxidation more complex organic molecules. In spite its simple structure, mineralization strongly depends on nature electrode material at which process carried out. Sargisyan and Vasil’ev (Elektrokhimiya 18:845, 1982) pointed out such dependence, investigating kinetic behavior OA different metal (Rh, Pd, Os, Ir, Pt Au), dimensionally stable anodes (RuO2–TiO2) glassy carbon (GC) electrodes. Their conclusions highlighted important role played by anion adsorption step, claiming that oxidized with increasing difficulty materials having higher oxygen affinity. More recently, these assumptions have been supported data high potentials (Martinez-Huitle et al., Electrochim Acta 49:4027, 2004). To further enrich picture, in present paper, investigations were mixed-oxides, Pt, GC highly conductive, boron-doped diamond (BDD) electrodes, either or fluorine their surface.
