Allergens from Dermatophagoides mites with chymotryptic activity

摘要: A new set of allergens from Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus and D. farinae (provisionally named DP5 DF5, respectively) was isolated the whole culture mites. The apparent molecular weights both were shown to be 25,000 on SDS-PAGE under a reducing condition 27,000 Sephadex G-75 gel filtration chromatography. Both as well Der f III, possessed proteolytic activity. results substrate specificity susceptibility various protease inhibitors DF5 strongly suggested that they belonged chymotrypsin-like serine family. In sera 88 mite-allergic patients, specific IgE antibodies and/or detected in only 41% by radio-allergosorbent test, while 90% 93% had p I II II, respectively.
