摘要: Purpose To compare central corneal thickness (CCT) measurements by the Orbscan II device, contact ultrasound (US) pachymetry, and noncontact Artemis 2 scanning US system. Setting Department of Ophthalmology, Weill Cornell Medical College, New York, USA. Methods The CCT in 40 eyes (20 normal subjects) was measured followed pachymetry then 2. Results were compared using analysis variance (ANOVA), paired t tests, Bland-Altman plots. There a significant difference between 3 modes (F = 32.84, P .0001, 1-way ANOVA). highly correlated ( r 0.963, 0.851, Conclusions Ultrasound correlated; 11 μm mean may be attributed to decentration, oblique incidence probe cornea, or possibly effect topical anesthesia with pachymetry. Although values 7.5 μm, less than prone underestimation thinner corneas.
