Understanding value-based healthcare - an interview study with project team members at a Swedish university hospital

摘要: The purpose of this study is to explore how representatives from four project teams understand the concept value-based healthcare (VBHC), since each representative responsible for one pilot projects implementing VBHC at a university hospital in Sweden. A qualitative design was used gain understanding VBHC. Open-ended interviews were as data-collection method and content analysis transcribed carried out. Participants’ focused on value created patient measuring medical outcomes costs, although costs some extent put aside. To measure patients, it health professionals’ perspective about what should that dominated understood strategy strengthen innovations loosen grip economic control. Benchmarking seen future possibility develop innovations. Changes organizational culture by participants need change being professional-centred patient-centred. way omits parts original concept.
