摘要: Abstract Altitudinal distribution of Joule heating is very important to the thermosphere and ionosphere, which roughly proportional Pedersen conductance at high latitudes. Based on Constellation Observing System for Meteorology, Ionosphere, Climate (COSMIC) satellites observations from 2008 2011, height-integrated conductivities in both E (100–150 km) F (150–600 km) regions their ratio γ P ( ∑ PE / PF ) have been calculated. The result shows that maximum northern summer hemisphere ~5.5, smaller than Thermosphere–Ionosphere–Electrodynamics General Circulation Model (TIE-GCM v1.94) simulation (~9). This indicates energy inputs into region may be underestimated model. seasonal variations investigated hemispheres, an interhemispheric asymmetry has identified. variational trend similar reaches minimum local winter. However, difference winter southern larger hemisphere.
