摘要: The jABC is a framework for process modelling and execution according to the XMDD (eXtreme model-driven design) paradigm, which advocates rigorous use of user-level models in software development life cycle. We have used domain scientific workflows more than decade now--an occasion look back take stock our experiences field. On one hand, we discuss results from analysis sample nearly 100 workflow applications that been implemented with jABC. other reflect on observations regarding framework. then derive ongoing further developments future perspectives framework, all an emphasis simplicity end users through increased specificity. Concretely, describe how PROPHETS synthesis plugin can enable semantics-based simplification design process, jABC4 DyWA frameworks attention paid ease data management, Cinco SCCE Meta-Tooling Suite be generate tailored management tools.
