摘要: Segmentation, or metamerism, consists of the subdivision body into discrete units that subsequently acquire regional specializations. In vertebrates, most obvious manifestation this phenomenon is seen during formation mesodermal somites and their derivatives. This review surveys three different models for how form, they relate to recent molecular data suggesting involvement transcription factors cell surface molecules. A new model (the "Morse code" model) proposed convey positional information somitogenic cells. Finally, events boundary (during initial epithelialization somites) maintenance (between adjacent somite halves as well in resegmentation) are discussed.
