摘要: A new photoelastic coating material, epoxy rubber (epoxy-polysulfide copolymer), suitable for elastoplastic stress analysis of metals is introduced, and a simple process obtaining individual principal strains stresses on free boundaries in plane pointed out. The successive stages local yielding unrestricted flow, the variations concentration factors with increasing load are studied quantitatively some metal strip specimens notches different sharpness, several turbine blade dovetail joints. ratios allowable loads by elastic plastic designs also determined.
