摘要: We examined the pattern of cognitive impairment and rate functional decline as a function age at symptom onset in 127 patients with probable Alzheimer's disease (AD). At baseline, early-onset (before 65) late-onset groups were mildly comparably impaired on modified Mini-Mental State Examination (mMMS) Blessed Dementia Rating Scale-Part 1 (BDRS). Repeated-measures analysis variance revealed significantly more rapid subjects over 2-year follow-up period. Multivariate linear regression analyses indicated that strongly predicted mMMS BDRS, even after controlling for duration, gender, family history dementia, baseline BDRS scores. Early- AD also differed terms performance mMMS. Early-onset scored lower than attentional items follow-up. Conversely, memory naming two comparable these tasks Results provide longitudinal evidence suggest may be characterized by predominant skills.
