摘要: Real-time is one of the unique requirements in embedded systems. In this paper, we perform a feasibility study on how to support real-time an virtual machine system. Firstly, argue that I/O model current monitor like Xen not suitable applications because it lacks predictability and does guarantee deterministic processing. We provide alternative for virtualized Devices are categorized into four groups: dedicated, active, running, dynamic. Dedicated devices make simple they do need be isolation. However, dedication mean performance Our experimental results with dedicated device show traditional cannot timely responsiveness heavy interrupt cases. Specifically, OS degrades as load increases. There-ore, proper control mechanism required at level order responsiveness. addition, our result supports 1) short prioritized processing helps system; 2) smaller time quantum better also.
